The last couple of days, Deb and I have both felt 'whipped.' I think we are finally relaxing after going like stink for the last week, or months. There was so much to see and do that we got up and took off each day....Not so much now.
We have really enjoyed sleeping in, reading, catching up on "Six Feet Under," and "Battlestar Galatica" series (finished both), and walking about this beautiful, peaceful property of this Lodge in the White Mountains National Park. It smells so good here. I realize I have already mentioned that....but really...mountain fresh cool air. Love it. Birds singing. Squirrels squirrelling!
Our little studio is so great. It takes about 5 minutes to tidy up, including making and hiding the bed. Debbie found that the armchairs were made perfectly just for her. With a blankie, pillow and her Kobo, she is content to read for hours. Can she sit still that long....well......she is getting there.
I have posted a few pictures of the ski hill to show the difference a few hours can make in regards to weather. One minute you can't see the hill. Next minute the sun is shining on the chairlift cables like sparkling jewelled necklaces. And some days we wake to that awesome blue sky and sun.
We met with an nice fellow, a Timeshare salesman, yesterday named Chello. Deb made me practice "no"..."NO"..."NOOOOO", we do not want to buy another timeshare....although, I do love it here........"NO"......."NO"......."No"......but.....
