What a great day! We have made it to Newport, Vermont, only about 5 km. from the US border crossing at Quebec. Funny thing happened on our way to US....we were 'randomly' checked by the Cross Border Patrol Police? Does this face REALLY look suspicious? So there we were, little Debbie and I, in the security building with about 20 Officers and an entire tour bus load of Chinese tourists....I kid you not!
After about half an hour, the Officer again asked where, when, how and why, obviously happy this time with our response, viola!!!....and off we were again down the highway. Another 'bucket list' item crossed off.....not.
We just take it as another funny incident to add to our fun in a day of travel.
