Our destination was the Attitash Mountain Village which has timeshare condos which is what we have booked for the next two 'glorious' weeks...just Deb & I. We are in a studio unit which sounds small but is not. It is lovely. A full kitchen, fireplace, big bathroom, open concept kitchen, dish washer....and ...ummm...where is the bed??? Oh, here it is, in the wall!! We have never seen or slept on a hide-a-way bed. It is fantastic. You make it up in the morning...and viola...it has disappeared into the wall. Fun! We have sliding glass doors that open to a small terrace with lots of trees, a railway, and beautiful view of the mountain behind us. Really great gal, Susan, who checked us in, shared with us great information about the area. It is quiet here because it is now waiting for ski season to start. An enormous ski complex is across the road. The lifts go way up the mountain...scary...but exhilarating.
The sun is shining and warming us through the glass doors this morning.....can't wait to go out and smell the mountain air. Breath. Relax.
