Deb and I began our journey to Boston at 5:00am....we were excited! We drove as far as Dover, New Hampshire and then used the automated ticket machine, pretty easy, to purchase 2 tickets to Boston. $78. return for 2 adults...fantastic price. It is about a one and a half hour commute. The scenery is mostly woods and streams...really sunny and beautiful this morning. We drove in a little bit of fog on the way down today, but not bad. The only anxious part is the 50 odd miles of "moose crossings" on the route. The railway station of Dover is run by volunteers. The gentleman working this morning was extremely informative and friendly who patiently answered all my questions.
The Amtrak train is clean, comfortable and has free WiFi Highspeed Internet...oh yeah baby. Time to take pictures out the window of the train.....keep tuning in....for our Boston adventures.
